Description:
    The theatre was founded in 1940 whent to music theatres united. "Stasik" (as the visitors call it) is the second after the Bolshoy theatre. But this tiny theatre has its own inexpressiable beauty. Stagings are good. Swan Lake here has always been considered the best in Moscow. Stasik is the right place to start acquainting with opera and ballet.

    The Novaya Opera Theatre of Moscow was founded in 1991 on the initiative of Moscow Mayor Yuri Luzhkov and Evgeny Kolobov, artistic director of the theatre.
